Tae Joon (Li Xiangxun) and SEO Yeon (Gong Yuan Minjing) find themselves leaving the hustle and bustle of city life behind, seeking solace in a tranquil countryside. Tae Joon decides to learn the art of farming, hoping to yield a bountiful harvest of fruits in just a few years. However, he faces challenges with the soil, which disappoint and frustrate him. Sensing his distress, SEO Yeon suggests that they share their house with another family to alleviate their financial burden. They invite a new tenant, Hwai (Lee Jia En), who happens to be a novelist exploring her own experiences with another man. Unbeknownst to Tae Joon, Hwai shares a history with him, a past event that has left her torn between hating or loving him, unable to move on. Taking over the once peaceful house that belonged to Tae Joon and Seo Yeon, Hwai confronts her own personal struggles, while Tae Joon finds himself drawn to the temptation of a woodworking teacher, Jae Bin (Kim Sun Hyuk). As tensions rise between Hwai and Seo Yeon, Hwai manipulates Seo Yeon in an attempt to win Tae Joon for herself, while Seo Yeon fights tooth and nail to protect her family.
