Ester and Mikkel, a pair of young Sámi individuals, decide to take a stand against the construction of a hydroelectric plant in the Alta-Kautokeino River. As they protest, they also take it upon themselves to educate the younger generation about the importance of preserving and showcasing Sámi traditions.
